Robert I. Aufseeser, J.D., LL.M.

Tax Attorney Specializing in Trusts & Estates.

Robert Aufseeser Tax Estate Planning Lawyer

The difference between doing something right and doing it wrong can be a little bit of knowledge. When people fail to adequately plan for their assets to pass to the next generation, disputes often arise. These disputes can tear families and businesses apart, cost tens of thousands of dollars to deal with (if not more), and, in most cases, could have been avoided with thoughtful planning.

I devote my practice to understanding the individual needs of my clients so that I can effectively prepare, administer, and defend their estate plans over long periods of time. I provide counsel on all matters of estate planning, probate, and estate and trust litigation. I represent private clients in all walks of life.

Having earned my Masters in Tax Law (LL.M. in Taxation), I approach estate planning with an eye towards tax avoidance and tax management. My experience allows me to quickly sort through complex fact patterns and to methodically plan and prepare effective case strategies.

I have been practicing law in New Jersey for 15 years, and I have been associated with small, mid-sized, and large international firms.  These experiences have shaped my practice and have challenged me to grow my practice in new directions.

Practicing law remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic taught me that there are new and better ways to practice law.  Leveraging technology and embracing new ways to solve problems allows me to provide the high level of service to which my clients are accustomed without the high price tag associated with larger practice groups.

My practice is results oriented, and I take the time to build relationships with my clients so that I can better implement short and long-term strategies focused on achieving client objectives in a cost-efficient manner.

Whether you are still growing your estate, or whether you are looking to protect what you have, I can help.
